Firstly, the programmable timer allows you to set the brew time up to 24 hours in advance – so when you know you’ll need a cup, you can guarantee it’ll be ready. However, if you can’t wait until it’s finished brewing, the ‘Pause-and-Serve’ feature is the perfect solution.

If you forget to shut off this coffee machine after use, never fear. There’s no risk of leaving it on all day or overnight and running the risk of a fire – the automatic shut-off kicks in after two hours. Lastly, the filter and glass carafe can be machine washed, which is a great touch and minimizes cleaning and maintenance time. The only downfall I can think of is that there aren’t any brewing options – but you can’t really expect it at this price.

For hardcore coffee conoisseurs, the more-specific settings available on the 10 Cup Coffee Maker may make it the right coffee machine for you.

Firstly, it brews 20% faster, according to the company, and to a temperature of 205 degrees Fahrenheit, which is hotter than most coffee machines. This helps to make the coffee richer and preserve the taste.
